Daydream, are you here to stay? A golden voice can seem so fey when you’re deprived. Help map stars upon the edge that rests above our riverbed. If you’d have my hand, you’d have my heart.
As I sow your name across the sky I’ll lift your voice right up to mine. I guess it paid when I dared to breathe for I stole your breath like a common thieve. As we pass where all the good times grow, I’ll push back your hair and let you know, “It may be trite, but I’m yours.”
Daydream, oh you seem so tired so burn your home and please expire in my arms. We’ll arise to singing bells, a sharpened sound that swiftly quells our time apart.
As I sow your name across the sky I’ll lift your voice right up to mine. I guess it paid when I dared to breathe for I stole your breath like a common thieve. As we pass where all the good times grow I’ll push back your hair and let you know, “It may be trite, but I’m yours.”
A glowing face, a vibrant heart. You said “forever”, well it’s a start, but I wish we had more time to share as eternity seems quite unfair. So grace me with those ageless eyes, oh I adore it when you cry for your tears of ecstasy dress our moments exquisitely.
As I sow your name across the sky I’ll lift your voice right up to mine. I guess it paid when I dared to breathe for I stole your breath like a common thieve. As we pass where all the good times grow I’ll push back your hair and let you know, “It may be trite, but I’m yours.”

Burning Hearts
Don’t look now, the world stopped breathing. Who sent your eyes to mine? Faith, could you answer me this? How could the world be such a beautiful place while we’re left festering in isolation? Death, let us meet again, I’m offering this pain in favour of damnation.
And as hearts start bleeding, grab the paper, I’ll seal my fate.
And as hearts start burning, grab each ember, our souls will elate.
Wounds will guide and shape our future. Every wound, every wound.
Wounds will set our past from future. Every wound, every one.
Did you hear when our hearts stopped beating and wept with an ill laced shine? Faith, could you answer me this? How could the world be such a beautiful place while we’re left festering in isolation? Death, let us meet again, I’m offering this pain in favour of damnation.
Freeze, freeze, freeze all we’re living for.
As you play, play, play your sadistic charade.
And as hearts start bleeding, grab the paper, I’ll seal my fate.
And as hearts start burning, grab each ember, our souls will elate.
Wounds will guide and shape our future. Every wound, every wound.
Wounds will set our past from future. Every wound, every one.
The World We Knew
“Sorry, we missed you...” read the note they left behind, along with it our broken home and so the story unwinds. As I retraced your steps I found you by our sacred ground, desecrating what we named our cherished, you tainted the beauty we had found.
Watch the skyline as the second sun is forged and I melt within the bright eyes.
For the last time, I’ll fake a smile to each of you and I’ll sink within the night.
Poisoned lips met you, once you know them you can’t find the sanctuary you helped build, you’ve thrown away a lifetime. I can sense the life being drawn, in your spirits you will drown. Desecrating what’s now your cherished I’ll burn all you love straight to the ground.
Oh my dear, please watch the sky as you burn.
Watch the skyline as the second sun is forged and I melt within the bright eyes.
For the last time, I’ll fake a smile to each of you and I’ll sink within the night.
Watch me sink within the night.
Human Becomes Redefined
I’ll be lingering wherever you go and through each movement your treachery will show. I’ll inoculate my once flawless soul and then know my weakness will numb.
And while I thought I found our shared desire, I shaped a flame as poignant as a funeral pyre’s, I wrote words that I thought you would hold, but dream’s reality has become so cold.
I’ll show the world of what’s to be, I’ll destroy the art of fallacy, I’ll be the heart of meaning when you utter “blasphemy”.
How is past revered with blood on each note? Your only passion is forcing lies out your throat. I’ll formulate the one remedy that will suppress all of you.
March along in imperfect unison, it’s naïve to think that we can’t see, we know the life you boast of is trite banality.
Words wear like weathered gowns, it’s not just apparent to me, your composure doesn’t hide such faltering quality.
So follow me, I’ll show the world of what’s to be, I’ll destroy the art of fallacy, I’ll be the heart of meaning when you utter “blasphemy”.
Cover Your Eyes
I need shelter, I need somewhere to call my home. For the life I have dwelled in I have truly outgrown.
I’m so tired. I have been through this times before, I've learnt the only way to stand is when others fall.
I’m no martyr my dear, I am an actor and these lines were written long before our birth.
As I crawl across these barren nights to find these shattered dreams and lights, watch me fall through all I know as I fight to wake my dormant glow. I’ve met you death and I think you should know sweet airs will put me to rest.
I find myself in skeletal woods witness to the life being drawn from freezing ground.
And as masked figures start chasing me I flee along where path is not found.
Look to my left and all I see is all that was embraced in numbing filigree.
Look to my right and all that I know is death dwells here and it’s my time to go.
As the cold runs through my mind, I feel my loss and it starts to bind.
And as ice starts enveloping me, I know I’ll leave without any elegy.
Caustic Dreams
Please believe that you’re atop the remnants of a dying culture, casting our hearts in shadow set by your figure whilst ruling on your imposing throne. Irony builds as fast as your decent, you see monarchies are out of fashion and my Queen you fell so long ago. This reality is reality I’ll never know.
You see this picture? Your figure's fading within the nothingness that I'm creating. And I won’t cry, I won’t offer a tear for you alone led yourself here.
Cathedral bells sing your name, a name built by the omnipotence of ignorance. Set thralls to false scripture free, clear the pews as grace’ll never show. Dead resonance denounced your reverence, you see deaf are the lives that you orate to. As sermons leave unknown the enmity laid lay your future alone.
A season’s suffering that’s in honour of your lack of faith.
I don’t need this. I don’t need you.
This last fall will strike your eyes. I hold the flame, I’m just counting down the time. Now fall.
You see this picture? Your figure's fading within the nothingness that I'm creating. And I won’t cry, I won’t offer a tear for you alone led yourself here.
Catharsis
“Where do you hide your poems?” She said.
“Not here.” Said I, and journeyed three steps.
“Where do you hide your stories?” She asked.
“There are no stories.” I journeyed three more.
“Where did you hide our tale?” She questioned.
“You never wrote with me.”
No, you never wrote with me.
“Where lays your cherished?” I said.
“Not here.” Said I, and regretted three steps.
“Where’s your future lead you?” I asked.
“There is no future.” I regretted three more.
“Where’s life guiding you now?” I questioned.
“Life’s left me here.”
Oh, life’s left me here.
Silence forms such clear sound, vivid life’s no longer found, all that lingers in its place is bland pantomime.
Fall into beauty. Fall through another’s life.
I’m falling.
I’m falling.
I’m falling.
I’ve fallen.
Stay still, beautiful one and tonight we’ll paint a perfect scene. Beauty incarnate, will you lend your heart to me? Part from your confines and such splendour I will hold. Wrap your warmth beside mine and we’ll avert the coming cold.
We’ll compose the greatest story, we’ll compose the grandest scene, we’ll compose such splendid beauty that infinity will envy.
Thrown in reality, with no hold on fantasy the words I laid to rest once more breathe.
“Where’s life guiding you now?”
“Life’s left me here.”
